Apple PIPPIN Macworld Presentation & Demo
This CD-ROM was developed to serve two purposes: 1) to act as dynamic and interactive speaker's notes for tradeshow floor presentations; and 2) to operate in a continuous loop, self-running mode. Because of the need to use the same presentation on two different platforms, it was created to run on Macintosh and to act as a bootable CD-ROM on the PIPPIN computer platform. Pippin was Apple's first forray into a 'headless' self-contained computer. It sold in Japan under the Bondai brand name and found only moderate success in the US due to no marketing. The product came and went in under a year, but Merlin Media receives several requests each year for copies of this CD.
