Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education

Merlin Media, in conjunction with our education partner, Interact Communications, created three individual projects for OK Higher Ed over a 6-month period. The first was to create a new version of their home page allowing design considerations for frequently updated information, notices, and other timely materials. This page (top) serves as the portal to their other websites.

Another area of development was the OK Higher Ed "Gear Up" website designed to introduce incoming students to the education system and provide information on undergraduate programs. This is a multi-page website that features some of the visual style of the OK Higher Ed Home page while providing a new and recognizable visual style appropriate for this site's audience.

The Student Center was a complete redesign and restructuring of an existing website. Merlin Media utilized the new graphic interface developed by Interact Communistions and created both the entire new site as well as a set of template pages which are used by OK Higer Ed personnel to add to the site as needed.

All pages and templates created for KCC are fully compliant with Section 508 of the Americans With Disabilities Act.

Website Examples

Merlin Media produces a variety of websites (Internet, intranet and extranet) using new designs and/or client-supplied artwork. Here are some screen shot from the client and project described to the left.

Secondary pages have a slight variation to the Gear Up Home page
with each section in the site utilizing a unique left-hand graphic.

Each department/area follows a basic look, but incorporates layouts and graphics
which are unique to that part of the website

Above is the Home page for the Student Center.
As with the Gear Up site, there is a visual tie in with the
main OK Higher Ed Home page and site, and with
the Gear Up site, while providing a consistemt new
look and feel. This site is designed to meet the
needs of students, faculty, parents and the community.

Note that the OK Higher Ed logo changes to the new
Student Center logo once the visitor enters one of
the 16 sections in the site.
